A Call to Action
In their 2023 Housing Assessment White Paper, the Tulsa Housing Authority projected a 12,900 Housing unit shortage for the next ten years. This housing shortage is made up in large part by Extremely Low to Low Income (<30% to 80% Annual Mean Income).
The BYLD team of founders recognized the Tulsa area’s desperate need for affordable, efficient, and safe building materials. They also saw the capability of SIPs to lower construction and utility costs and pass those savings to homeowners and renters.
In 2024, BYLD began manufacturing their first SIP panels in Skiatook, Oklahoma with the goal of filling the Tulsa-area’s need for energy efficient, structurally superior building materials.
